After yesterday's general views of the palace and park of Tsaritsino in south Moscow I thought we could share some of the more interesting shots:

The patterns of the ducks' footprints in the sunlit ice/snow prompted this shot.
Two little girls were having a wonderful time sliding down the hill. We like this because it looks as if they are sliding UP the hill.
A view down the park from an arch in one of the bridges leading to the palace.
A sample of the decorative architecture of the palace and surrounding buildings. This is one end of the opera house and it has the Russian double headed eagle as its theme. The double headed eagle represents Russia's position between Europe and Asia - looking towards both. The eagle carries the royal insignia of the orb and ceptre: symbols of male and female and balance in the exercise of power.
